Philosophy

With over fifteen years of experience managing architectural projects, Beat Schifferli founded BSA Architecture in 2018. Our philosophy is built on three core pillars: acknowledging local qualities, maintaining rigorous site supervision, and fostering the mutual trust we build with our clients.

We believe that the architecture of a building must be marked by the environmental and social components of the context in which it finds itself; whether through the choice of materials, construction systems, or even customs and traditions.

We have gradually built up a base of site-related skills. Our relationship with businesses, the management of costs and deadlines, and the anticipation of surprises which could be encountered on the construction fields are all part of our daily activities.

Our firm considers the transparency of the relationship between client and contractor to be the cornerstone of the building. We therefore make every effort to advise and support our clients in turning their architectural projects into reality. In addition, we attach great importance to improving our multi-cultural and linguistic skills, which allows us to operate throughout Switzerland.

Finally, the firm has enlisted a team of professionals from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures, with the aim of offering solutions which reflect the diversity of today’s world.
